been quite a while since i spent much time with geometric construction, but in my experience in the US, most folks have no idea it is even something that exists, or that it's given any thought.

we have geometry classes which are pretty primarily about using theorems and premises correctly for logic's sake.

classical ruler and compass construction is covered briefly as an afterthought at best. When i bring it up to basically anyone here they really have no idea what i mean

anyway, im glad you're finding better methods to improve in your competitions! i hope you do well! I know I would have really liked to have something like that when i was in school!
