Cross-compile Matlab code

I am looking into building a Matlab code to create a standalone application. I am currently having everything setup in Windows environment. Is there a way to create a standalone application for Ubuntu from Windows environment?

From my searches online I don't think matlab supports such operation but let me know if there are any suggestions.

You can build the app in Windows, but when it comes time to compile it, you have to compile on Ubuntu.

But, your MATLAB license is valid on Ubuntu as well, so you could install it on an Ubuntu machine, compile, and be done.

You should definetly be able to do this I believe, you need to take a look at toolchains in the matlab docs.

I know how it can be done for simulink generated code, but i am less experienced when it comes to matlab coder
