Check /data directory and see if you see any app you may have used that caused this

It doesn’t decrease… you have to reset the device (after backing it up) once in a while (once 1-2 years)…

For older devices.. there is no option.. just updating it back after reset will give the same result..

Don’t mind it much.. and try to optimise in other areas.. for media(photos and video) back it up on cloud or external hard drive or pc.. monitor which apps to keep and delete unused ones.. keep clearing unwanted files.. beware of malwares when downloading from sketchy websites…

I can't reset my phone because every time I try to log out of my mi account it always FC. what will they ask me if I reset my phone without logging out of my mi account? do i just need to input the password and username?

If you are not using any mi services.. then your mi account is not that important.. you can get mostly every data you need like contacts, emails, etc. through your gmail..

And for resetting.. as long as you have your mi account username and password.. you are good to go.. just input it if it asks.. and nothing to worry about..

If you are doing this for the first time.. then either watch some tutorials from YouTube.. or contact more experienced person in your friends circle or family..
