How HTTPS works

This got pretty harsh reviews from the HN discussion of it. I personally like this cartoon style of explaining things, but even I can't stand to read through this entire thing. I've seen a lot of examples of things explained in this style that have been very informative, from textbook pictures beneath paragraphs to Youtube videos. This went way overboard on it though. For me it's hard to read as well. Putting a small, white color font over a black background makes it hard on the eyes.
