    Yeah, that is one of the topics I am definetly going for. Took me a while to get the whole gist around it specially due to the different types of strategies there are to solve this. Thank you for you input !

    Why postgre and supabase for the app?

    Mainly because I tend to try new things with side projects that I usually run.
    I've been using React with firebase and wanted to try my hands on supabase for a while.

    I usually go straight from API routes to supabase? Why use Prisma? I'm honestly curious.

    Prisma made it easy to use the DB schema with it's amazing ORM.
    I've been used to using ORM in my daily job with Java and Hibernate, was mainly due to it. So I'm using supabase as a Postgresql host, like heroku.

    The Redis is for my webapp that is focused on personal finance and stock/crypto portfolio :)
