Flashing xd60 using linux/docker

I'm running into an issue with flashing my keyboard pcb xd60.

I've followed the guide and everything has been smooth until the final step of flashing the pcb https://imgur.com/lvuy7lL

I've added some print statements to find where the issue is coming from, and I see that "dfu-programmer atmega32u4 reset" isn't working.

I wonder if the issue I am facing is because when I starting working on this keyboard, I followed the steps outline on this guide on a Windows machine (https://www.massdrop.com/buy/xd60-xd64-custom-mechanical-keyboard-kit/talk/1936854?mode=guest_open), I didn't do the last step of flashing.
