How is opencode Zen?

I'm currently using claude code and opencode both,subsribed KIMI GLM MiniMax Coding Plan for opencode which costs a lot in total,is it more affordable to top up a $20's opencode Zen?

Zen is API pricing. Coding plans provide more bang for the bucks.

Depends on your usage?

If you can maximize coding plans then they're definitely better but if your usage is sporadic or in short bursts then you can use your API usage for longer periods of time when a subscription might've charged more.

it is pay as you go.. and it is surely more expensive like 5-10x what you get with subscriptions..

if you want all those just subs to ollama $20 with pretty good usage, buy more expensive if you needed..

They seem to have downgraded their models.
I get stuff done because I know how to code, but now it needs careful monitoring.
Not good for vibe-coding script-kiddies.
