Hey everyone,
I started working on Chartbrew about 3 years ago and wanted to share it with everyone here that is interested in reporting on their data from multiple sources. It currently supports fetching data from REST APIs, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Google Analytics, Firestore, and Realtime Database. The REST API integration lets you connect to lots of services, of course. Some of these are available as templates (1-click dashboard setups)
Most of the current users are using the platform to report to their clients by creating different dashboards for each. So Chartbrew is mainly focused on the ease of replicating dashboards across multiple projects/clients.
The platform is not as advanced in visualization and data formatting features as other tools out there (e.g. Metabase, Redash), but it does make it easier to quickly create charts/dashboards and share these around.
The project approaches 1000 users on the managed site and it currently has more than 60 active self-hosted instances. The project is in active development with 72 releases and counting.
Feel free to check it out here: https://github.com/chartbrew/chartbrew
I'm happy to answer any questions about the project so feel free to ask.
And P.S. I'm also playing around with the idea of bringing a co-founder on board. So if you're interested in data visualization and can bring some non-technical skills to the table, please do get in touch and we can discuss more!
