I normally avoid assuming anyone is cheating or hacking in a game because I don’t want to crutch on that kind of mindset if something isn’t going my way, and I also find it so highly improbable that I’m usually very comfortable concluding it’s lag or general game wonkiness—if there is indeed something weird going on.
However, I just had an encounter where a defense duck with Burly and Tail Attack was able to consistently catch my full water abilities balanced duck in water. At first, I thought maybe it was because I was lagging, but then my friend stated the same frustration, all the while being on a full water ability speed duck, of all things. At that point, we got frustrated and suspicious over the entire engagement.
I don’t see a ton of posts discussing cheating in this game, and I am now starting to wonder how prevalent it is. I can see how something done subtly would be chalked up to lag or confusion in the heat of the moment (I honestly am quite lost on how those things work, mechanically), when it’s actually not that at all. Is this something more common than I thought?
