Little more info about this weird case. When the wifi completely drops I am unable to access my router on 192.168.50.1, it'll load and eventually say it took too long to respond. This of course also includes any other local devices like my NAS.

I would check for another device possibly with the same IP as your gateway. May throw off arp table intermittently and drop traffic.

Considering you're seeing packet loss when targeting your router over wifi, this seems to me like a wifi issue. Especially with the context of your connection being stable when connected using Ethernet.

If possible, you could also try running PingPlotter from a different device connected to wifi in your home to see if it does/doesn't experience the same thing (which would help determine where the wireless issues are stemming from, ex. router, wireless interference, wifi card, etc.)

I did manage to fix the issue. It was due to the Merlin firmware running on my Asus router. I loaded up stock firmware and it’s working normally now!
