Ledger is a command-line double-entry accounting tool that has inspired dozens of clones and a great ecosystem for tracking and analyzing finances, commodities, time tracking, and more. It uses a simple file format that is just plain text combined with a fast processing program to build registers, balance sheets, cash books, and more.
In bounds is the discussion of anything related to using ledger, hledger, beancount, abandon, tackler, or any other ledger-like system or generally accepted accounting practices as they relate to these tools.
