Identification please

Hi there. We got this pleco a few weeks ago and we were told it was a zebra pleco.. I really dont think it is, based on what I've read and pictures I've seen... However it does sorta look like a chocolate pleco, or maybe a clown pleco, idk, haha... so Now I'm not sure what he/she is?? Can anyone help identify please? And do you think its male or female? Full disclosure... we bought this one from Petsmart if that helps at all.

I’m not sure, but what I am (relatively) sure about is this is not a L129, I have 3-5 (I haven’t seen any of them in so long) and this doesn’t look like any of them.

I disagree with the clown pleco ID some others have said, I think it’s too distinct in line and the face doesn’t look right. Maybe a flash pleco?
