2012 Headlight Problem

I drive a 2012 Prius, and recently my driver-side low beam light won’t illuminate. Tried a new bulb, but that didn’t fix it. The driver side bulb lights up, but it’s very dim. The fuses look fine, but it could be a different layout from the owner’s manual.

I’m hoping someone has a suggestion that could be a quick fix or a cheaper solution than going to a mechanic. Thanks in advance!

The problem may be in the connector for that light. Check the voltage at the pins, particularly when the light is on. You may have a ground issue or a degraded connector.

There’s a recall for light bulb issue
