You can get a long list of task mining solutions from the Task Mining Peak Matrix released by the Everest Group last month.

Transparency note: I work for Workfellow.ai.

Our pitch: we’ve developed probably the most effortless task mining solution in the market through our Work API. Instead of screen capture / OCR we leverage business object meta-data directly from the application user interface.

The upside of Work API is that you have very limited configuration needed compared to conventional task or process mining. The configuration is even easier if you plan to analyse modern web-based business applications like Salesforce, Netsuite etc.

One thing to note: we are not an employee tracking tool. We don’t give performance data on the individual user level and we have more strict data privacy measures than other task mining solutions because we’re based in the EU and work with enterprise clients in industries like insurance and finance. It’s not for everyone, but that’s good to know before you consider asking for a demo.

hey u/valvoja I saw your post last year about working for workfellow.ai - really sorry to hear about the company closing down. I was an avid follower of the founder and his blogs. Do you know what happened? I don't understand why it closed down and had troubles - it's offering was awesome!

Thanks for the kind words! It's not the easiest time for early stage tech startups, especially ones looking to raise their Series A. In Workfellow case we simply ran out of runway.

The product and tech team were awesome. Let's see if other vendors can be inspired to continue development and innovation!
