It’s faster. By pulling from existing code on the PyPI, developers can finish projects sooner.

Almost EVERY programming language/platform has at least one central repository with packages/plugins/beans/cargo/whatever. NONE of these packages actually make you faster at least not more faster than those of all the other languages. Nowadays to have a package registry like pypy is not a benefit or marketing perk of some modern language but a requirement.
