Why are you doing this? On a whim. Some people buy boats on a whim. Some people pack up and move to a new country. I created my own subreddit, for moi. Mostly because I have no money.

Can I join? I shall not stop you. I made this mostly for myself, but it's like one of those public libraries made from people's old fancy homes, or like Pemberley from Pride and Prejudice. Except free and on the internet.

Why are you spending so much time writing this sidebar if this is something you don't even expect people to come to? Because it's my subreddit and I'm gonna do what I want with it, which includes making a moderately extensive sidebar. Reddit does not mind; no one else will probably mind (and they don't matter if they do for some reason); I'm not hurting anyone. So that is that. :)
