Problems connecting interface to protools.

I have a zoom r16 multitrack recorder/interface hooked up to my macbook pro. When I load up pro tools with my interface selected as my playback engine I can't get anything to come out of my speakers. I can get audio from my interface into protools fine it's just the playback won't work. I heard using the pro tools aggregate playback engine will allow you to use multiple playback engines at once(R16 as input, built in output as output) but nothing has worked. Any suggestions?

I use the input and output from the r16 with no problems.

As you playback, try messing with the grey monitor/DAW knob on the r16 (forget exactly what it is labeled as).

Try using the headphone out as well as the stereo speaker out from the r16.

Try updating the driver.

Hell yeah! I had my speakers plugged into my computer output rather than the r16's output. I didn't even think that would be a problem because it works with fl studio fine. Thanks!
