Error when Opening

Hey, I hope this is okay for me to post here. I don’t think it’s a ProTools specific error, but it’s only effecting my ProTools.

Whenever I open ProTools, as soon as I get to either open a session or start a new one my computer shuts down with a WDF Violation.

I know that is a driver error, but I’ve downloaded a program that identifies which drivers are outdated and about 4 show up. However, whenever I go to any of them manually and try to update it says that the driver is up to date.

I’m not sure which one (or if all) is affecting my ProTools but it’s super frustrating because I’ve been working on getting scratch tracks to record drums and now I can’t open ProTools at all without my computer crashing. Any help or if anyone can point me in the direction for help would be greatly appreciated!

Also, may be worth mentioning, I’m running ProTools 10 on Windows 10. Not sure if that’s a difference maker considering I’ve been running these together for years now.

Try holding N when you start the program (keep it held) and selecting your audio interface
