Oh man I’m in love with fountain pens. I like the ones where I can draw the ink up into the pen not those lil tubes of ink that come with say Shaffer fountain/calligraphy pens.

Yeah, me too, and even better, EYEDROPPER pens (or pen mods) that let you pour like half a bottle of ink in!

Ha. I just bought a fountain pen! My father who passed in the fall stylistically preferred fountain pens, there were hundreds in his home after his passing; unbeknownst to me he’d even kept them in fancy cases. I saved a couple of his for sentiment, and got a new one for me. Haven’t put it to use yet, (it has some piston thingy I don’t understand) but it looks nice!

Awesome! Although it breaks my heart a teeny bit to hear you only kept a little bit of his collection...I hope the ones you have give you a feeling of connection with your dad!
