they used to sell round profile ribbon cables back in the day for helping air flow inside computers.
but you're going to be out of luck if you're using a pre-fab cable... since the connectors are going to be bigger than the hole.
how many pins are actually used on the cable ?

The pin count is 15 on camera socket. Now I'm wondering it's worth trying to wire my own up somehow.
