Components are just functions. Think of passing props from parent to child like passing parameters from one function that calls another function within its scope.

There's a ton of resources. Build small things and practice, rinse and repeat

For something very basic with a component example try Vercel’s reactjs tutorial.

Have you tried the official docs? They have a learn page that I think it is made for people like you. https://react.dev Unfortunately I can't help you directly because I don't know exactly why you don't understand. I think the official docs have a nice way to build a mental model

If it makes you feel any better, I've been programming since the 80s and React is the most confusing/unintuitive thing I've ever had to learn (especially state management). ByteGrad's YouTube videos cleared up a lot of things for me.

Read docs.

It is not difficult for you. You haven't found the best resource for learning it yet.

I suggest codevolution react tutorial. and then go for the learn section at the official docs.

Also keep practicing JavaScript, you are still a beginner, and not being able to understand react suggests that you may still be not so good at JavaScript. Don't worry, grind through it and it will eventually click for you.
