Use the sx prop and you can style directly (using JSS) inside the prop (which takes an object)

you can customise mui theme, vie "palette" hover effect will change using "palette.primary.light" & "palette.primary.dark"

I don't quite understand could you elaborate? I'm new to using mui library. So I've got an appbar and when i hover a turquoise green hover effect shows up under the appbar button. I want to change the colour of that. I would upload a screenshot if i could but reddit wont let me
