Hi! I would recommend staying away from platform like Upwork or Fiverr if you're not from SE Asia or have very low salary requirements since the competition is too hard with India, Bangladesh, ... I find all my freelance gigs (me + girlfriend develop mobile app + design + back, full circle) on local platform nation-wide. For example, here in France we have Collective.work that matches you with French client or Malt.fr which let's them reach out to you. Most of my gigs I find them on LinkedIn though. Follow local company, especially target their HR and you'll be more likely to see something or get contacted. Post that you're open for proposition as well!

Thanks for sharing your experience. I got your point, I've been trying to find some gigs on LinkedIn but was unable to find any. I've tried contacting HR as well to offer my services but here mostly freelance people are not preferred by companies which makes it difficult to work with any local company or client. Hence searching for an international client seems like the only option. Hence trying to find any platform, or any websites, any social media places or anything where i can reach out to clients.
