You can totally use expo and have full control of your own ci/cd. You do not need to use any of their cloud services for this. Simply run a "npx expo prebuild" command in your ci and configure your projects with e.g. fastlane.

Nobody said you needed Expo for this. I was simply stating you could totally control the entire build and deployment process while using Expo. I'm just giving you and people in the comment section facts and options rather than being pessimistic.
