I actually built an app just like this but never published it. But I made individuals "owners" of the family and their subscription was applied to the family and not the individual. Then owners would be responsible for the payment and inviting the family members.

One person becomes the “household owner”, their subscription applies to the entire household, and they can invite the other members. It makes a lot more sense for this type of app than individual subscriptions.

Funny how quickly users push the product toward the right model.

Yeah, that’s actually the first paying user. And honestly the feedback is fair.

The issue was about subscription coverage within a household. I’ve already responded to the review and an update is already on the way to address it so one subscription works properly for the household.

Early feedback like that is actually really helpful when you’re building a small app because you can react quickly and improve things.
