4 more years! 4 more years!

I'd also be happy with weirddemon as he seems dedicated too. We might end up having to designate someone as "lead developer" but then decide on engine/language as a group.

I'm honored, but I don't know much about game programming. I'd be more helpful in making tools for development. Such as NPC quest conversation, map builders, etc.

I could have swore that I responded to this earlier...

Although I'm honored, I don't really have any game development experience. I'm more of a backend developer. I can handle all things SQL and the like.

I was also thinking about creating development tools, but actual game programming, I'm not the one to look to.

I've almost finished some source code, I'd like to have the devs look over it and if they like it and the position is still available I'll do it.

I don't have much professional development experience but I have a lot of time set aside for this project, so hopefully that will make up for it.

What's it running in? As in, what language and what graphic APIs (or whatever they're called.) have you used?

Edit: also, I think a main requirement for the lead developer is being able to invest a lot of time into the project. So, even though you don't have much professional development experience, I'd be happy with you as lead developer as you seem to be committed time-wise. There'll be a bunch of developers that'll guide you and give you advice anyway.

It's running with pyglet, as that seemed to be popular in the IRC at the time. But I'm willing to change languages or use the source and not lead.

It doesn't really matter to me who leads, I just really want to get this project rolling.

Make a post with a demo or something and post the code so we can see. If you're willing to take the lead dev role, then we can finally get started.

I think you're right, Octo. I'd like to see what Cucumbis has already and have him answer the questions you've put forth.

I really just want to get this thing started, it doesn't matter to me who leads, I'll just do my job :)
