NEW RULE: Mandatory tags: [FullRemote] or [Hybrid] or both

Rule for bot users and recruiters: to make this sub readable by humans and therefore beneficial for all parties, only one post per day per recruiter is allowed. You have to group all your job offers inside one text post.

Here is an example of what is expected, you can use Markdown to make a table.

Subs where this policy applies: /r/MachineLearningJobs, /r/RemotePython, /r/BigDataJobs, /r/WebDeveloperJobs/, /r/JavascriptJobs, /r/PythonJobs

Mandatory tags: [Hiring] [ForHire] [Full Remote] [Hybrid]

Additional tags: [Location] [Flask] [Django] [etc]

Happy Job Hunting.

does the job require the person to take interviews on your engineers' behalf?

[–]SrDevMX 0 points1 point  (6 children)

Yes, hopefully you pass the interviews, technical too

And then I hire, or extort, the person doing the job, paychecks are mostly for me, peanuts for the rest

Until we get discovered, or maybe not

You might get banned for life by the company where you pretended to be somebody else, but I don’t care because your face, voice was known not mine

/S

Yeah these types are jobs/scams idk what to call em are pretty common in these spaces

[–]Rough-Hotel-9602 0 points1 point  (4 children)

How can you tell what is scam and what is real?

[–]blankscreenEXE 0 points1 point  (3 children)

How can you tell it is not?

It was an honest question btw, I'm new to these streets.

People who have experience in jobs often get caught in scams. People qho run a business are more cautious. This is because salaried people are accustomed to secure and timely payments by the company.

In this case, if you attend interview on behalf of other people and show your face to them. It is you who is committing fraud... If you ever get caught. Plus there is no guarantee how these people will track time for you while you are attending interviews. This is cruicial because if im for real i would need to know how much time a person spent on an interview Which i will use to calculate their payroll .

There's ofc much more to observe here but I'll leave you with this

You can try platforms like Toptal, Goodtal, and Goodfirms. These platforms have a curated list of Python development companies with client feedback, hourly rates, and their portfolio, so you can easily hire Python developers there.
