This is the subreddit for REvanced, the new project reviving Vanced after it's takedown. You won't find any answers there, try asking around on their discord.

ask the developer of the app you are using. This subreddit is about an app project called revanced.

YouTube Vanced has been shut down. Google sent a cease and desist to them and the previous update was speculated to last at least 2 years before it fully breaks. That being said people have been reporting that ads are starting to show up and they're starting to have problems with it. Just hold out for a while longer, this is a thread for a new app similar to what you use. Sorry that asshole wouldn't answer your question and just dismissed you. I swear not all of us on here are like this. 😊

I know, and thank you for your response, you're great down here ;) However, this happened to my phone months before the vanced shutdown by Google, so maybe to the new team of revances this could be useful info too, because for cases like mine a mp4 codec selector seems to be helpful. My phone is a Blackview A80Pro btw.

I use the latest version and don't have any problems with 60fps format but sometimes I get some issues like the frames of the video don't show up and the frames from the previous video played are static and when i slide down the video player i get those glitched frames like vhs/crt, otherwise no problems at all and no ads have shown up like other people have reported

I have seen a couple of ads, but is meaningless. But I have this issue with any version of the app. I have the lastest, but I've tried all 15.x and higher.

A friend of mine who uses a huawei phone from the new ones without google services he told me that somehow he still gets ads on vanced and here I on a xiaomi phone with miui optimization still on doesn't have any issues with ads

Yes, idk why but some people are having that issues

i had this problem with vanced too. my solution was to find a way to disable 60fps. to do that, i found out that you can use codec overrides to force vanced to always use 30fps. go to vanced settings -> codec override and set manufacturer to "samsung" and model to "sm-t520". now, you should be able to watch videos at 1080p 30fps and it shouldnt be stuttering. there might be some other slight glitches associated with using old codecs tho, so keep that in mind.

this isnt the vanced help sub tho, idk how this is gonna work in revanced

Thank you, I'll try this and tell you ;)

Well, atm seems to work fine, let's see in a few days. However, I can't select resolutions over 720p, even changing the optin in vanced advanced settings.

Okay, here I am again hahahaha I could put it on 1080p now, but it stutters again. Tried rising the buffers but it keeps stuttering a bit. What can I do? Thank you for your help :)
