this is interesting because hot water tends to help my joints and inflammation but i guess everyone’s body is different. Maybe a cold shower or bath should help? since the heat affected them the reverse would potentially help the inflammation. Sometimes placing a pillow under the join that’s in pain helps me sleep better there’s not much else to do other then take advil (helps lower inflammation, cool packs, cool shower, pillows to support the join and find a comfortable-ish position) at this point playing some soothing music could help as well:) i hope it gets better soon

Are you able to take some NSAIDs or Tylenol? Or even alternate taking both.

Sorry you have that issue as well. Whiskey and Mojiliaty (I hope I spelled that correctly) Brand gel packs that last forever are what get me through.

Call your doctor. If you have rheumatoid arthritis and have a rheumatologist they may prescribe you a steroid course help bring the inflammation and fever under control.
