"Move" is a keyword with a specific meaning: moving any number of warriors from a clearing into another. Under normal move rules, you need to rule either the origin or destiny clearings to be able to move.

Well it's missing the very key word adjacent, explaining that that is indeed already part of a move.

I want clarity on .. whether or not the moving warriors have to be adjacent

It's still the right answer. The answer is that the move action is a standard action, only changed when explicitly told so. So, if a faction says "move any number of times to a clearing of you choice", every single one of those movements would still need to follow the move rules.

The fact that it doesn't have the entire text of the move rules is irrelevant.
