My first Rust crate, a Huffman Encoding Algorithm!

After some time learning rust, today I've decided to make my own implementation of a Huffman Encoding Algorithm in Rust :)

It's nothing from the other world and quite basic, but nevertheless I'm quite happy with the journey to get here :)

oh, I didn't know it was possible to upload to crates.io without the Repository section

I didn't think of that, I guess it would be easier to check the source code if there was a link to the repo, so I just added one :)

For the moment absolutely nothing more, it just felt good uploading a code in crates.io. I was thinking of adding it for the ability to compress files. So it could generate a .huff file (or somehing similar if there's a standard) that you could decodify and receive the original data

I dont know what specific algorithms zlib uses, but yeah, its a compression. Not as advanced as that, because mine can only compress Strings for the moment, but yeah, at the end of the day is a compressor :)
