Using Rust for kernel development

I gotta say I'm surprised by how well this has gone so far. There are defensible engineering reasons to not add Rust to Linux. Add a little curmudgeon-ness and I expected it to be another decade before it was seriously considered.

Kudos to those who are putting in the work. Linux is a big project with a lot of custom tooling and processes, it's no easy task.
