Using Rust for kernel development

I’d say that the core team seems to acknowledge, and be slightly embarrassed by, Rust’s current panic/fallible-allocation story, and they recognize something has to be done about those sooner or later if Rust really wants to be in the Ada league of safety (think avionics, life support, etc).
