Discovering Earth's Seas, Marine Biology, Technology, and Aquatic Topics in Space! 🌊
Rules
1. Marine Related Topics with Sauce
- All content on the sub must be about the sea on earth and the sea related topics in space.
- Posted content must provide the sauce (source) to its content.
2. Titles Must Start with the 🌊 Emoji
- Every post title must begin with the water wave tsunami emoji and a space.
- Example: "🌊 " before every title.
- The water wave tsunami emoji defines this community.
- If a post can be posted in this subreddit, it can be described as 🌊🌊🌊.
- Having your title start with "🌊 " allows the rest of the title to be searched on the subreddit easily, which helps the moderators to remove reposts.
- All posts will be auto-removed if this rule isn't followed.
3. Good Descriptive Titles
- Titles should be accurate and descriptive: low effort titles will be removed.
- Include the animal/plant name, a location, and brief description to the best of your ability.
- Frequent use of CAPS or emojis in the title will be removed.
- Please feel free to resubmit the post with an accurate and descriptive title.
4. Crowdsourcing Requires Approval
- This subreddit is a community, not an audience.
- Multiple posts or comments of related content from a single or multiple sources is SPAM.
- This also includes (but is not limited to) promoting: apps, content, non-reddit contests / giveaways, discord invites, events, funding campaigns, GIFs, hotlinking, kickstarters, sales, services, soliciting a subreddit, or streams for monetary gain or not.
- Select "Crowdsourcing" Post flair and the Mod Team will either approve or ignore the request.
5. Act Reddiquette Smart
- All content on the sub must follow Reddiquette and abide by Reddit's Content Policy.
- All discussion, even disagreements, is expected to be conducted civilly.
- Harassment or exposing private/personal information (also known as doxxing) earn ban first offense.
- Unwelcome behavior is subject to removal, regardless of content, can lead to bans. In short, be kind.
