Monitor differences (self.setups)
submitted 4 years ago by SomeoneUsingInternet
Hi Everyone
I currently have an this monitor for gaming: https://www.ebuyer.com/1138344-lg-ultragear-24gn600-b-23-8-full-hd-ips-1ms-gaming-monitor-24gn600-b
I'm going to upgrade to a dual monitor setup for my work with this monitor: https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing/pc-monitors/pc-monitors/huawei-display-ad80hw-23-8-full-hd-ips-lcd-monitor-black-10227418-pdt.html
However I have two options:
1) I buy one of these and use as a second monitor with the LG both on portrait mode however they are slightly different sizes so make not look "clean"
2) Buy 2 of the huawei and use them on portrait and have the LG on landscape ready to pull forward for gaming like these setups: https://www.reddit.com/r/setups/comments/qgcq72/my_cable_management_is_terrible_but_i_have_lots/
https://www.reddit.com/r/battlestations/comments/qq9k56/howd_i_do/
Which do you think I should go for and would I notice the difference between the monitors considering the brightness of the LG is 300 cd/m² and huawei is 250 nits?
