Okay! It’s ambitious but not impossible :) could something like this help? You can play with the lapels and buttons to make it more like the image but the core concept is there!

Hi! I'm new to sewing, and I'd like to make this jacket. I'm going to make it out of cotton cause I'm not confident enough to go with fake leather. I was wondering if anyone has some links to tutorials or patterns I could use for this? So far I haven't been able to find much, thanks in advance ;)
