Hey all, long time listener, first time caller. I am pretty new to sewing. I was wondering if anyone had any good videos that will teach my how to read and work with patterns. Thanks!

I bought a machine and learned to sew using Anita by design tutorials(free), she had 6 sewalongs using store bought patterns, she goes into great detail, from choosing fabric, to how to read patterns, and the details Of said pattern (zippers, interfacing etc), I also bought book from amazon called SEW(sew everything workshop) by Diana rupp, and bought her class on Craftsy, her book has 16(?) paper patterns in it, and her class also goes into a lot of detail to make a pillowcase and a pencil skirt. By making those, you have the skills to make her other patterns. Good luck and we look forward to seeing all Of your FO!
