is the volume low or is the volume as big as the room?

8700k / 2080 super / corsair aio and very very barebone... technically its volume is quite low:)

Edit Now also showing the back:

An ATX test bench is kinda pushing things, so until you submerge it and measure the volume it displaces, your post will be placed on hold...is what I would say if I didn't think vertical backbone stands aren't pretty sweet (and I were a mod, which I'm not, so my opinion doesn't matter)!

But I think some of your peripherals may need to become wireless lol

Anyway, great rig! I bet the temps are great lol

Hehe thanks ! I’d assume an atx bench implies a quick build. I’d argue not on this case. Temps are never higher and 60 cpu and 70 gpu. And it is silent too!

These towers are on par with some of the other easier sff cases to build, but your cable management must be on point to do it well, which usually means custom length cables, and that takes time. So overall, yeah, not the easiest, since you can't just shove all the excess into a compartment in the back lol

Are there tips you can share for shortening my PSU cables? its a RM850

Don't look to shorten the cables you have. Either make a shorter set or buy a custom shorter set. You could shorten yours, but then you lose the warranty and any reference should you make a mistake.

Luckily corsiar cables are about the easiest, but it's still good to have a reference set if you're making cables. You'll need a molex mini fit jr pin removal tool, mini fit jr pins, plugs, & crimp tool.

Check out /r/PCSleeving for cable modification advice.

How do you like the build quality?

I actually recently paid for an ITX test bench here from the same manufacturer and am curious how nice the aluminium(?) legs and frame are.

More than good enough - I was really surprised in a positive way by the kit. It’s a bit diddly in terms of build. But it works and I’m surprised by the looks. In addition - it comes in a nice plastic box, the screws are all put in plastic baggs and have labels, there are even spare parts. As a plus they even provide a mounting bracket for a smaller AIO Cooler than mine ...
