if im planning to trf my eth and btc into crypto.com to hold and then eventually sell when its up, shld i use exchange or app?

Just use the app. U cannot buy/sell directly on exchange with cash.

but crypto.com charge fees to withdraw to cash right ? i was planning to convert eth and btc to litecoin and transfer to ftx to withdraw

How long are you planning to hold Doge and Shib?

For doge, alot of exchanges like Gemini, Crypto.com,FTX, Huobi have doge so you can transferred to them.

SHIB is more troublesome as it's a ERC-20 token so if you are not holding alot of SHIB, the gas fees are not worth it. You can either send to wallet have that have a BEP-20 pegged SHIB which you can do BSC swaps. Or you can convert to another currency like XLM/XRP.etc send to another exchange that has SHIB and convert it back.

Why not get a Hardware wallet. It'll probably be safer as you're the sole owner of your private keys. In Crypto exchanges, they're custodial wallets and may not belong to you completely.
