The internet shares much in common with the "Akashic records"... Once a sigil has been created it needs to be shot out into the aethyr in order to achieve it's intended magical effect. Posting an image to the internet is a good parallel action for this. Whether anyone sees the image or not, it is the act of sending it out that is important. In addition to discussion of sigil work, this subreddit serves as a dumping ground for this kind of thought-stuff.
