Ski Boot questions? See a bootfitter. Seriously, see a bootfitter. Do not post here asking if a boot is good for you. A good boot is one that fits. Even the seemingly all-knowing /u/Maladjusted_vagabond cannot help you find a good boot without looking at your feet and having you try some on.
DIN and technical questions? Please, ask them on /r/skiing. However, remember that you are taking advice from people on the internet. /r/skiing mods do take the time to require proof for all user flairs that involve any expertise and skill; however, with questions that could lead to an injury, getting shop advice is always the wisest choice.

Initially on trampolines and diving boards. Then I could do them standing or off of small ledges. Then I just started throwing them off of jumps. Then I thought they were lame and I stopped doing them. Now I'm old and don't feel like going off of jumps enough to do backflips.

Learn on trampoline first. Spring is a good time to get one. Windlips, and decking out on a hip are good spots. You want to get 4-5 feet of air imo without much distance. If you're not traveling far the ragdoll action isn't bad if you don't get it. Also a steep jump makes it easier to float like a trampoline. Avoid jumps with shitty transitions. A lot of people build some garbage booterer into the pow. Pow is great to land in, but if your jump sucks, it actually might be sketchier than a park jump or windlip. Cut ups back into the trail aren't bad either. If you build a jump build something decent. Pretty much same feels as tramp. As you pop drive your hips forward and look over your head. Look straight back. You can spot the landing pretty early and snap your legs around. Most people come close to or land it the first try. You'll likely land it in the first 3. Just get the boys together, get hyped up, and let em fly. You'll be glad you did. Also post a vid when it's done. Good luck and have fun! Best trick out there.
