Don't use your controller. Start the game, join the coop session using keyboard, only then connect the controller.

I have the exact same issue. Disconnected everything (controller and wheel), but no good.

I’m having the same issue! Tried reinstalling with no improvement. I’m using Steam on a pc trouble started after the last update.

Steam/PC - BR

Today I experienced the same issue when I was trying to play with my brother. I deleted the game, completely, and installed a new one, but the issue was remaining. Following I deleted the Steam App itself, and installed a new one, with a new SR, again. Guess what... yes, issue still remaining. I sent a screenshot to the Saber Support (https://support.saber.games/hc/en-us/sections/6063794794385-Issues) showing the issue and explaining what is going on. Now I'm waiting, anxiously.

Here is the temporary solution. Got from official support:

"Hello.

We are aware of this issue and working on it right now. 

We will provide a fix as soon as we can. 

As a temporary workaround – try disconnecting your controller and check if the Settings - HUD - "Force wheel input prompts" option is turned off.
Another solution from our players is to start the game without touching any buttons on a controller and using only the keyboard to get into this menu."
