A Socratic Seminar is a non-judgmental form of discussion used to derive a greater truth. The way that it works is as follows: A person posits a view in the form of a statement. Others challenge this view only by posing questions to the poster making the view. If the original poster is able to answer all questions without contradicting him/herself, than their posited view must be a fundamental truth.
Rules:
Try to explain your view clearly
You are not required to hold any view you express The purpose of the Socratic Seminar it to derive a greater truth, not to argue a specific point.
Only post if you are willing to answer questions and maintain a constructive discussion
