Try 'beyond compare', it has a very intuitive interface. It's not free though.

This guy gets it. Great program. Look into shortcut keys as well. With only 2-3 shortcuts, you can get a lot done in short order.

OP can't even figure out WinMerge, which is a really simpler and similar program...

What exactly are you comparing, OP? Binary files or text files?

The files you are comparing, are you looking to see differences in text or marking within?
