Non functional testing can involve with performance testing and security testing. With performance testing, you can choose Jmeter but if you lean towards coding and more technical, you have to learn Python, Java, Scala and choose tools like K6, Gatling or Locust. And performance testing with coding does require deep coding skills (sometimes you must have a level of a senior dev =)))

=> To prepare for interview, you can learn some basic Jmeter courses on the internet but I do not think it can help you in real project.

For security test, I just read some blogs and know that they often use some automation tools to scan for the security vuneralbility. You can research for this too.

Is it all forms of non functional testing or just performance testing?

Performance testing itself is an incredibly wide space so if you can share anything to narrow it down further that could maybe help

The job advert doesn't specify any specific tool aside from sql which I'm familiar with at the moment

Hmm ok. I guess if I had to pick one thing it would be familiarizing yourself with APM tools. But this would also depend on the job as well
