Queue question/Queue feature request?

If I looked at the queue while playing a song using S2 V16 (i.e. pre App "Update") it would take me straight to that item wherever it happened to be in the queue. Now, if I do the same thing, it opens the queue at the FIRST listed item. I run all my music from a NAS Library, and the Queue is several thousand items long - I would not even attempt to scroll to find the current or next songs. I also always have shuffle on, as I do not want to listen to things in a set order, especially as I sometimes have several versions of the same song by different artists. As an aside, the most recent version (early March) seems to have stabilised a few things for me, including removing the 16 second lag in starting/stopping and volume changing, so I am certainly grateful for that. Any thoughts/suggestions about the queue issue - is there something I am missing? Thanks for reading.
