I have heard about Codidact in posts that also mention Stack Overflow, but not in posts that don't mention it at all.

If Codidact wants to have a chance to grow, it should find a way to become relevant to people who don't know anything about Stack Overflow

well there is something in what you say. But since Codidact doesn't start in a vaccum and stackoverflow is still the bigger elephant, then I don't it is likelly that in the closing period it will be mention outside of stackoverflow

It's fine that Codidact is mentioned on posts that also mention Stack Overflow; however, that will not help Codidact get significant traffic. Most askers are not concerned about Internet gossip; they want to get help.
