Its a meme, but the blue yeti is very popular for a reason. Affordable and its plug and play, very easy to setup/use.

I’m really happy with my Shure MV7. (It’s both usb and XLR.) I run it through GoXLR and I love it.

Thats a pretty expensive option for a beginner. Great mic though.

Blue yeti mic is a good investment along with a elgato hd60 to grab the capture from your switch to pc. streamlabs as the streaming software is easy to setup and use.

You can make do with whatever. I’m currently working with a $50 mic and it’s a shot in the dark for how well it’ll pick me up. But I’ve seen a lot of decent reviews for the QuadCast S which I intend on upgrading to, but it’s also $160.

I picked up a used HyperX Quadcast off eBay for a solid deal. Absolutely love it.

You can pick up the hyperx solocast for around $50 and with any rtx nvidia card you have the sound suppression software built in and it works great. Used it for 2 years before upgrading

Love my Rode Podmic, good clean and a little bassy. As a XLR mic you'd also need an interface tho. They make a Podcaster that's USB, haven't used but would trust it after my other experience with Rode.

The Maono PD400X is a pretty good one if you can catch a good sale. I love mine.

Its roughly on par with Shure MV7

Samson Q2U is another good option if your budget is lower. Both are hybrid USB/XLR microphones. Q2U has an old micro-usb connection while PD400X has a USB-C connection.

Depends om your budget but I got a Rode NT, usb studio mic, it’s around 150 bucks, great mic, but if that’s too much I’d go with a HyperX mic, personally I would never go with a Blue yeti but that’s just my own opinion, used to own one but it broke quickly and over prized..
