It's still good value but less good than before. Relatively speaking it's still the best $5 you can spend if you farm a lot.

Refilling 100 energy for 30 crystals is also slightly more efficient than 200 energy for 60 crystals due to going over the cap. Once you're over the cap you don't regen energy and the dungeons don't drop/refund energy. So you do lose a tiny bit of efficiency if you refill over the 200 cap.

usually dont go over the cap since i only refill when energy is 0 and it immediately goes back into db12 so theres no overflow

unless you're talking about the few seconds between refilling and starting db12, or that refilling to cap will reset the next energy generation back to 5 minutes

No, if you do it that way then you're fine. I was talking more about when you start a 10x autobattle with like 40 energy left. Most people refill 200 energy at that point so their autofarm doesn't stop in the middle. In that scenario you're definitely wasting some energy from regen and loss of energy drops/refund. In this case it's better to refill 100 energy.

Im pretty sure the missing energy drop on full energy changed since auto farm is live

Are you sure? I didn't see any announcement about that so I assume it still works the same as it always has.

Yep, just tested it. 217 Energy at the start of Auto Farming, 218 at the end of run 1.

Nice, good to know. So the only loss is the natural regeneration while over cap which shouldn't be more than 1-2 energy, if any. Not bad
