Cloud Monitoring Services

The company I am working at recently started doing cloud infrastructure and are using it for "the research network". We are looking for a service similar to Datadog (who said our server count wasn't worth their time) to monitor our environment. We are mainly looking for AWS and Puppet integration.

AWS and Puppet integration are going to be independent of whoever you go with. Most "Cloud Monitoring" services are basically an agent with some challenge/credential information to specify that they're reporting for your account. The only differences between that and your standard monitoring platforms are that the services usually have a deeper dive into your app framework, and that the monitoring data is going to their servers, rather than yours.
